7 novels you should read ASAP

“Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”

That John Green quote is pretty much exactly how I feel when I read a book that makes me feel things: “Why in the world hasn’t everyone read this book?” I ask myself.

Yes, I love movies and music and television, but there is still no experience more rewarding than reading a good book.

So, in hopes of sharing a fulfilling experience, here are seven novels – new and old – that you should read as soon as possible.
